ORDTISMS

About Ordtisms

Overview

Ordtisms is a 101-piece collection of on-chain, interactive generative pieces, each inscribed on Bitcoin via recursion and rendered live with p5.js. Every piece is a self-contained HTML algorithm etched onto a single satoshi—permanent, participatory, and provably scarce Bitcoin-native art. Built-in keyboard controls for each piece, plus the “Derivitooor” playground, let collectors tweak lobes, turbulence, and color in real time, completing the artwork themselves and encouraging the open-source spirit that great ideas evolve through shared creativity. Interactive controls: 1/2 adjust lobe count; 4/5 adjust turbulence; 7/8 adjust ribbon count; +/− adjust rotation speed; 0 stop rotation

Inspiration, Influence & Intent

Ordtisms nods to:

Intent

Gratitude — a thank‑you to the builders in ordinals enabling creators to build on bitcoin.

Exploration — a lab where art and protocol innovation intersect.

Technical Overview

Ordtisms leverages recursive inscriptions to reference a single on‑chain p5.js library across all 101 pieces, keeping individual inscriptions lean. Each HTML file seeds its algorithm via recursion with lifofifo's p5.js library inscription ID’s hash, guaranteeing unique yet deterministic outputs. Built‑in keyboard controls turn viewers into real‑time collaborators. Future on‑chain extensions—such as Arch Network integrations—will highlight the growing intersection of Bitcoin art and DeFi.

Aesthetics & Visual Language

Visual Signature

A spiral‑torus motif anchors every piece, symbolizing recursion and infinite loops. Particle fields and ribbon structures orbit this core, shifting with each frame to reward prolonged observation.
